19th World Congress on Safety and Health at Work

International congress jointly organised by ISSA and the ILO. To be held in September 2011 - exact dates yet to be advised.

The Congress, which meets every 3 years, is an international forum that brings together more than 4,000 experts sharing ideas and practical experiences in the field of OHS. It is organised jointly by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and, in 2011, by the Turkish Government.

The Congress aims at contributing to the development of a "preventative safety and health culture and to raise safety and health at work to the highest priorities at the national and international levels".
