New WorkSafe ACT Inspector positions advertised 22 May 2010
Ads have now been placed for 'several' Work Safety Inspector positions (salary range $64,583 - $74,188).
The roles will be as part of a team of compliance officers / inspectors involved in site visits and workplace inspections, providing advice and guidance to safety
duty holders and, where necessary, taking enforcement action to ensure
compliance with the Territory’s laws.

WorkSafe ACT oversights compliance with a range of related acts and regulations, the most prominent of which are the Work Safety Act
2008 and the Workers’
Compensation Act 1951.
