Hi everyone !

I' m young person who want to work as safety engineer in construction. Before that, i am interested in, how professionals are motivating their workers ? Nowadays, employees are motivated earnings and often break the rules OHS. I searched some videos which can help me in my future work and I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc46y_CCTsE&feature=related . What do you think about this kind of aid in trainings? Do you have other ideas ?

As a producer of safety videos, this is one of the best I have ever seen.  Very clever.

Safety videos are a very effective tool if used correctly.  They are next to useless if they are just played ad-hoc in a training room and not used as part of a broader programme.  CONSULTATION is very important and a requirement by law - including the new Work Health and Safety laws.

My biggest tip is to dissect any video by use of an active discussion with your work group. Good safety videos come with tools to assist you with this as do all of my programmes. If you're interested have a look at either http://www.safetyvideoshop.com.au and/or http://www.safetytrainingdownloads.com.au.

I can vouch that effective training is extremely important as it enables a new recruits to become as productive as quickly as possible and can avoid costly mistakes by recruits not knowing the procedures or techniques of their new jobs.
