Inviting Friends
It is not just the site organisers who can invite people to Join this Forum (although all new Members have to be approved by them). Anyone can invite their friends to sign on. In fact, that is what the Forum is all about. The Forum, after all, should really belong to the Members.
To invite your friends to join the Safety Forum follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Invite' tab along the top of the site's Home Page. You will then see the following screen.
- You will see there are a number of way to enter the email addresses of those whom you would like to Invite. One of the simplest ways is simply to click on the 'Enter E-mail Addresses' link. You will then see the following screen.
- In the 'Send To' box, simply enter your friend's email address. If you want to send the invitation to multiple email addresses, simply separate each address with a comma. You also have the option of adding a short message if you want to.
- Once you are done, click on the SEND INVITATIONS button and an email or emails will be sent to your friends, inviting them to join the Forum and providing them with a link to the Join page.
