New Legislation

I just discovered a quote that I think is fitting with the emphasis on consultation in the new ACT legislation.In the ustralian Industrial Relations Commission, Commissioner Smith said in defining consultation during a CAA - APS hearing in Melbourne on 12 March 1993:"Consultation involves more than a mere exchange of information. For consultation to be effective, the participants must be contributing to the decision making process not only in appearance, but in fact."See More
